Patterned after 15th century French and Italian frames, our 4 inch Renaissance Flat Panel poplar molding offers a highly versatile profile that, depending on the finish, works splendidly on a variety of painting styles. Two options are offered–the standard Renaissance has a taller outside cap, while the Renaissance 2 profile offers a flatter profile. Both can be fully or partially leafed in karat gold or metal leaf. Panels can include corner sgraffito, full panel sgraffito, faux burl, matte gold, or solid paint in the color of your choice. Below are pictured several examples of different finish options.
